First off, don't let anyone tell you it is quick/easy. It doesn't technically require much, but every maneuver is quite awkward. Anyway, I did the method of not removing the dash & cutting the pipes. Mine was completely clogged and I had NO heat. Not even warm. Now it blows quite hot. Unfortunately, I put it all back together and noticed some green coolant drops on my shoes. Had to rip it apart again to get to the clamps and REALLY tighten down on them. All is well now. A few pictures of the fun and the final result after new heater core is put back in place: The method is to have your feet in the trunk and head under steering wheel. Needless to say, my neck/back/hands are mangled.
